Have You Heard About the Climate Plan? Do You Know How It Will Influence Brazil's Commitment to the UN Climate Goal Aligned with the Paris Agreement?

This is a strategic initiative by the Brazilian government aimed at aligning national policies with the goals established under the Paris Agreement, an international accord signed in 2015 to limit the global temperature rise to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. According to Minister Marina Silva, the Climate Plan represents an "Ecological Transformation Plan," setting a new paradigm for Brazil's development model.

The Climate Plan supported the development of Brazil's new Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), which outlines the country's mitigation and adaptation goals for 2035 under the Paris Agreement.
